Catherine & other things
So I played through Catherine on easy when we first got the game, I even got the Catherine I wanted too! Now I'm playing through Normal mode, and when they say normal they mean really freaking hard! I got through most of it without too many problems, but as I got closer to the end, I was collecting the gold, so I had to look up some walkthroughs on youtube since I'm a visual learner. It's helped me so far, but Vincent being dumb most of the time doesn't help much, not to mention that our controllers are awful touchy today, damn things. Anyway, I completed the game and have been going through to collect gold, easier said than done with Thomas Mutton around, I guess...man that guy's a huge pain! If it was up to me, I'd poke him right in his shiny red eyes!
Now usually I don't rant, but this game is fun, but also a pain when trying to gain achievements, but I did get my whole flock saved! I thought some of them died when they shouldn't have, guess I resolved their problems and didn't know it. But whatever, they're still breathing, you know?
Now, on to sensitive controllers >/ I really hate sensitive controllers! Either it's Vincent being dumb or the damn controller is being retarded, that or traps that I have to evade, like spike traps, bombs, curses, or giant back holes that make it so that I have to go around them instead of through them! UGH! They piss me off!
Another thing I hate right now, Babel.
My girlfriend insisted on playing it with me once and I let her, but she kept messing me up. And since she didn't know all of the controls, that didn't help much either. When she quit though I got to 104 steps in Altar! I'm so proud of myself, but I still need to complete Babel too. Stupid thing.
Now on to other news;
Our roommates have been complete assholes, they don't do anything around the house when they're suppose to, they don't listen to the people that own the house (My girlfriend's brother and sister-in-law) and then complain at us about it like we're not going to inform them when something is up. Now I know it's wrong to snitch, but this is getting retarded! The only time they have something to do is on the weekends and they don't even do that!
One of them sits in his room all day and plays video games and blames everything on his fiance, then the fiance is never here because she's out babysitting someones kids for free when she's not even paying rent at all here. I know my girlfriend and I don't either, but we actually do stuff around the house, like taking out the trash, putting away dishes, running errands for the house, and cleaning other odds and ends. Not to mention the fact that we have the biggest chore in the house when the parents are out, we babysit my girlfriend's nephew, Jayd, and he's 2, terrible 2, so I'll be damned is someone tries to say that I don't do shit around the house when we were only suppose to have, like 2 chores.
Anyway, I think I'm done ranting now.
