(no subject)
Ahh what a night. Kris came over and made baklava for me. YUM!! It was soooooo good. And he's not even greek. I'm greek, and I don't have a clue how to make baklava....go figure. Anyway, we had dinner at Benihanna, where I tried sushi for the 4th time in my life and actually liked it this time. There was this girl at our table who I swear had to have been Latoya Jackson... Afterward we saw Batman Begins. It was a good movie, but I kept thinking it was supposed to be a "prequel" to the 1989 Batman movie (with Michael Keaton). My friend Brian (who I called at 3am to discusss this with) set me straight....
I really am in love with Kris. I know what some of you are thinking - that it hasn't been very long and yadda yadda yadda - and you're right. But we have this...connection. It's hard to explain. For instance, there have been numerous occasions where I'm dialing his number, and my phone rings & it's him. Yesterday when he came over, he stopped in the doorway and just looked puzzeled. I asked him what was up, and he said he was just listening to the exact same song (not a common song by any means, either) that I was when he pulled up. Plus we we're dressed in almost identical clothes. Even weirder: I had already made reservations at Benihanna (I was going to surprise him), but I asked him what he wanted to do fo dinner. After thinking about for a second, he replied "sushi". Does this sound peculiar...?
I just feel so....attached to him. I have feelings I've never had before for anyone. It's wonderful. And what's better is that I know he feels the same for me. Could this be the happiness I've always wanted? Only time will tell...
