I was on campus for 11.5 hours yesterday. All spanish, all day. Phew. But at least I've got some ideas of what to do for my development project. I think we're going to concentrate on the theme of population increase. It has a pretty nice (by nice I mean drastic) effect on "development." I absolutely don't by the Truman-inspired idea of what development is. It turns out, as is true for everything, the process is incredibly fucking complicated. I could go on, but who wants to here it, and more importantly, I'm lazy. I'm totally going to watch "Hable con Ella" with spanish subtitles this weekend. The excitement never stops. It just waxes and wanes.
