Sometimes it really amazes me how I can never realize how good some video games are until I rediscover them and play three years after I've already bought and beaten them. I cleaned my room a couple of days ago and happened to find a secret stash of old Playstation games under my bed, so I've been revisiting some great titles and having a lot of fun. I considering starting a discussion about it at the
GamingWorld forums, but it's a beaten topic and everyone usually uses such an opportunity to talk about games everyone already knows about (such as any Final Fantasy game and Zelda). Anyone other than me think that Syphon Filter 2 was a great game?
Ironically, I've also downloaded a lot of cool oldies music that I previously hadn't bothered to try. Now Alicia can't make fun of me for being the only person on the planet that hasn't heard the Beatles. :)
In other news, I called today to check up on my application at a local Dominoe's Pizza, and the manager told me to call back in a couple of hours to see about an update. This is the first time someone hasn't told me to call back in two weeks because there are no openings, so I'm crossing my fingers.
I'll be starting my final semester of high school in just two days, and I have to say that I'm very excited about it. I've been waiting for 2004 for four years, and now that it's finally here I have nothing but fun classes to look forward to to close out my last year. Right now I know I'll be taking Spanish II and some sort of Advanced Placement English course, but I'm still curious as to what my other two classes will be. My guidance counselor mentioned something about some sort of Technical Theatre Arts class in which it would be my job to help set up lights and microphones for different activities that the drama club will do during the year, but I dunno if I'm in it for sure. I'm gonna see if I can score at least one computer course so I can be lazy. :)
Anyway, I'm on the last leg of my Christmas/New Year's vacation so the boring entries about scheduling and video games will soon come to a close. I'm sure I'll have plenty of stories to tell once I can get back to civilization. See ya then.
