It is so freaking beautiful outside. I didn't know this sort of day existed outside of Sewanee. Seriously. The sky is so blue that it hurts your eyes to look at it, and it's warm but there's a lovely breeze with sort of a chill to it. Plus they just cut the grass at my apartment so it smells like fresh cut grass. I feel like I need to spread my gown out on the ground and sleep on it or something. So maybe there is hope for the rest of the world after all. :)
In other words, work kicked ass today. For those of you that don't know, I work at a local TV news station. I'm an associate producer, meaning I basically assemble the show. It's a weird sort of very structured creativity, and it's teaching me to be more visual....I tend to think more about how things sound than how they look (Music/English major, what can I say), but today we had half of the show outside in what we call the Backyard Garden...it's a backyard set with one of those blue screens...usually used for weather (our blue screen is actually green). And we had a guest who came and brought a puppy and it was soooooooooooooo cute. Anyway, show kicked ass. I was really proud of it.
And with that I'm going to go take a nap, since I got to work at 4 am and I'm exhausted.
