I can't remember a time where everything was as surreal as it was this weekend. If you weren't there you will never understand. We can all try and explain but you'll never get it. You'll never get the rushed excitement waiting in the commons. You'll never get the feeling you get when standing in front of one of the most amazing groups of people you have ever met waiting to go onto warmups. You won't ever get the feeling of yelling those counts knowing just do it more one time you'll get it I swear. You'll never get the feeling of standing in that circle crossing your arms and that feeling in the bottom of your throst that you're gonna cry tears of triumph of let down of your a senior and you can't say that prayer cause if you open your mouth then tears will come spilling out cause this is it. You'll never get the feeling of walking onto that field which is it the 35? or the 30? oh yeah the 35. You'll never get the final pose and not being happy just bawling your eyes cause this can't be it you can't end it like this. You'll never get the feeling of being with those 250 kids who just found out we made semi-finals at nationals and knowing that you'll get another chance to show them you really are that good. you'll never get holding your best friends staring at the indianapolis sky fill with fireoworks. You'll never get performing the best show of your life and almost crying during the ballad and goosebumps covering your body cause this is one of the few times you've felt it and I mean really felt it. You'll never get the hug I get from Allie Kreimer and telling each other "do good for me" or the keith saying "mundy!" and walking up to me and pulling me into one of the best hugs ever and whispering "tear it up" or looking at rebecca and lauren at the front of the line and knowing, just knowing. You'll never get hearing that trumpet note and knowing wow this is it , the beginning of the end of one of the most magical life changing emotional experiences of my life. You'll never get it unless you were there.
