First time running 14km with friends

This is my first time running such long distance with friends, the feeling is terrific. This is because I have experienced running such distance alone, and it sucks. Throughout the whole run, there is always someone in front to chase after, having the person's back to distract your pain away.

During the first 4km, running against the lentor traffic was a pretty bad idea, air was warm and quality was bad =/
The seemingly endless road was also not helping, but the gang was picking up pace, I have to keep up too.

After the turn, at YCK road was a continuous upslope all the way for like 1+ km, was one of the toughest challenge. Fortunately GR was pushing me along until the next bend. There comes the downslope all the way for at least 1-2 km and then all was smooth. We all love this stretch, got the 苦尽甘来 kind of feel. Subsequently along upper Thomson and Sembawang road was just a test of endurance. Fortunately the air was very cool there, less traffic and quieter, just nice to help with the aching calves and cramping thighs.
