So what do people typically do in the CES. It's a nature preserve, albeit a changing one. I get that. But there really can't be so many people here who just go hiking everyday.

Not just for the sake of knowing. Either the nerd is forcing you to fake an interest in people's hobbies, you've taken a blow to the head recently, or you're plotting something that needs you to know how busy the CES gets.

The whole 'pale, skinny, robes, dense aura of unfriendliness' doesn't exactly work in your favour when you suddenly start caring about the great outdoors and other people's use thereof? But otherwise yeah.
