I studied the roses from the market, and have continued to do so since returning to the Barge. Whatever magic was in them while in port appears to have vanished, but I think I've taken enough notes that I can figure out how to replicate the original charms. If you let me know in advance I can probably tweak the magic a little, too, if you'd like something a little more specialized.
Nothing too crazy, though; I'm the one that has to give these things out, and I'm dubious enough sticking with the original spells.
