I'm taking it under advisement that my usual manner of dealing with people and customers doesn't exactly work for me or anyone else in the pub. I haven't been especially hospitable to some, and if it's happened while I've been working, then I will apologize. Seeing as how it doesn't exactly make for the healthiest environment for me to work in, ( Read more... )

And what about when you outright refuse to serve drinks because you presume an ulterior motive that you have absolutely no evidence for?

I maintain you were being difficult just for the sake of being difficult. But as I said -- for the time being, keep it simple and be patient, and you'll get your drinks.

I wasn't. You're really too paranoid.

My cross to bear, I'm afraid.

And the rest of us have to put up with it. Communal living, and all.

It goes both ways. Perhaps if we'd had more civil conversations in the past I wouldn't think it of you now.

I would have, but considering your primary method of communication is whining, it's difficult for others to engage with you.

And nobody made you respond. None of my missives were ever directed squarely at you.

Besides, I might complain, but at least I don't broadcast drunken invitations for people to come look at my snake. Which is remarkably small and "precious."

What did your Warden give you after I left?

Ah, the tried and true response to criticism. I had to listen, and that was bad enough.

There's nothing wrong with inviting people to look at a snake. It's a snake, not a double entendre.

Oh no, I'm sure it was a snake, but I guarantee no one who heard you initially thought that.

You post a lot of candid audio, by the way.

And that will do it. I don't touch the stuff, myself.

Then that's their problem.

...

No, I don't. [Yes, he does.]

And neither do I, typically.

I wouldn't let your Warden drag you after him in his drinking habits. Some of them are a bit superhuman when it comes to that.

Mine, for example, doesn't think he's drunk if he's able to keep his drink in one hand and not fall off the face of the universe.

I don't make a habit of this.

That doesn't mean he won't.
