Zap! Crash! Boom!
Wicked-awesome thunderstorms last night! Woke up up at 2am and had us up past three...which was fine with me because it's not like I'm working or anything, but Derek was grumpy. Seriously, though...CRAZY awesome lightning and thunder action! Strikes and cloud-to-cloud bolts almost every 5 seconds. Western Washington just doesn't GET storms like this, so it was pretty sweet. I do love me a good thunderstorm.
My only hope now is that fireworks get rained out on the 4th. I hate fireworks...I'd be much happier if the only fireworks we saw were the natural exchange of electrons caused by cumulonimbus clouds thundering by.
