Neighbors rock
I just got back from a very nice backyard barbeque with my favorite neighbors. We've known these two couples since we moved in 4 years ago. I brought along my swordfish steak with puttanesca sauce and a corn cob wrapped in aluminum foil with butter, salt, and pepper. Add to that a half bottle of cold Bogle Chardonnay left over from a couple of nights ago and a Bell's Porter and I was in a fine mood. We chatted and enjoyed ourselves despite the mosquitoes and intermittent rain showers. I left Hannah at home in her crate because GOD DAMMIT I needed a moment's peace and quiet. I got that and more.
