Just when you think you do, you don't...
Jeeves, hand me my scarf, I'm going home.
TOday ended up being a waiting game...first I have class from 8:30-10:30, and then a 3 hour "break" (read: waste of time) and then 2 2-hour classes, from 1:30-5:30.
Morning class was fine...I pass the time during my break, and am happy when friends finish their class to share the boredom. At 1, we learn our 1:30-3:30 class has been cancelled. Which means we have 2 more hours to wait for the 3:30 class....
Then at 2:30, we learn that our last class has also been cancelled. 4 hours of twiddling my thumbs and half-assed homework attempts. *twitch* But there was a good reason, apparently 3 people from my program had difficulty breathing and were throwing up (apparently all together) and all three had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. Ambulances and fire trucks out front...it was crazy. I hope they're okay...I have no idea who it was, will have to get the scoop on Friday. I hope it's not contagious, especially if it was that new flu that's going around...
So then, I stopped by Becca's placement to let her know I was done early, and we could meet for shopping earlier than 5:30 pm...She told me that a meeting had come up, so she could be later, so we would just meet at home. And then we decided to save it for tomorrow, as she had a lot to do.
My whole day has been a change of plans...Le sigh. It's no wonder I feel so utterly unproductive. I would like those hours of my life back, please.
I did get some holiday shopping done, so yay for that. Now, I am going to do...something.
