Well, back in the school zone after a week at home!
Did I do any of my homework when I was home? No.
Did I go to my class today? No.
Am I behind on the notes for that class? Yes.
Could I cope with the thought of going? No.
Did I do schoolwork instead of class? No.
Did I take a nap? Yes.
I'm off to a rip-roaring start here! But I will have to study for my test tomorrow morning (after this, of course)!
Reading week was decent. Had a lot of down-time with my family. I didn't see as many friends as I would have liked, but what can you do....Most notably, I didn't see Nina at all, as she was sick. Though we do seem to be having a failure to communicate with each other as of late. Hopefully, that will work out soon.
Had some fun doing a photo shoot with my cousin Allie on the Tuesday. (AGH! I just remembered I forgot to get the negatives from her! Oh well. That will have to wait, then.) The pictures are for my Mom, for her birthday...I do have copies of some, so will put something together out of those ones, and give her the rest later.
Also found out that my great-uncle died that day after a long illness. Hadn't seen him in a number of years, and hadn't heard the greatest about him in those years, but I remember him as being nice when I was a kid, so I hold on to those positive memories of him. It doesn't matter what anyone else says; I have good memories of him, and that is all that matters. Didn't go to the funeral, though I was willing to, due to complicated family politics, and the request that the interment service be as small and private as possible.
Drove back here on Sunday, with Allie as co-pilot...Her reading week is this week, and I was heading in the relative direction of where she hails from. She spent the night at my place in St. Catharines...we ordered Chinese, went for coffee, and fell asleep watching the movie Drangonfly. I fell asleep sitting up, tucked into a ball! I MUST have been tired to do that! Caught the gist of the ending, then called it a night.
Went out to check out a few vintage clothing stores before she caught her bus at 1. I miss her already. We get along so well, and understand each other so well (related from birth can do that to ya) that we overall, have lots of laughs and fun when we're together...with an overall state of comfortableness at all times. I feel kind of sad, now that she's not here. Plus I spent my week with my family, and the week before that, Kari and Jessie were visiting me in St. C. Now I feel lonely, as my roommate's working, and because I know I am back to the usual thing. But I do get to see Allie and my Mom and Grams next Saturday, on Allie's birthday, so that's something to look forward to.
But for now, I guess I should *finially* go study for my Sociology test tomorrow, and maybe accomplish other schoolwork as well!
