Oh what a night
I had sooooo much fun this weekend! On Friday we left for our adventure. Me, Jessie, Jenni and Mike made it to Jessies house in San Lorenzo on Friday night. Early Saturday morning we made our way to Santa Cruz and was faced with our first adventure...finding the hotel. It took us forever because of stupid yahoo maps....but we found it eventually and found we were only minutes away from the bordwalk.
We headed to the beach...Jenni and Jessie wanted rides right away...and Mike and I soaked up the sun for a bit and stood at the edge of the beach seeing how far the waves would sink us under the sand...we got to our ankles. We got hungry and left jenni and jessie at the beach when they came back. We got a Philly Cheesesteak (which wasnt the best Idea with the rides), I bought a new pair of shades, and we got on some rides. I didn't know how hard it was gonna be to get Mike on to some rides...he doesnt like a lot of spinning, rides only held by a bar, rides with no floors, or rides that go upsidedown. But...I got him to go on a few :) He turned a bit white when we went on the double shot (a ride similar to the drop zone) and the the skyglider (which is just a little ride thats similar to a ski lift that looks out on to the ocean) it was quite amusing.
We walked back to the hotel..got a bit tipsy ;) and went back to the bordwalk. We played some of neptunes minigolf (which is awesome!) and went on some more rides. It was a histerically fun night.
The next day we went and had lunch and walked on the wharf. I got to show the group the great view and the seals! After that we headed back to the car and back to Chico. I wish I could have been there for longer, but it was fun while it lasted. Im so glad i had that much fun.
