the facts:
-i am living in beverly, in a pretty sweet housing community actually. i'm rooming with 3 other girls
-josh, jerry, and john are living about 20 seconds (jogging) from me in the same community
-almost everyone else that i know live about 5 minutes from me
-i'm working at a place called the Locator Services Group. it's a small office with a lot of people my age, i get to wear what i want to work, and it's a nice atmosphere to work in as far as i have experienced. i've been there for about a month.
-it's on Newbury St in Boston. i commute a lot.
-large corporations (motorola, for instance) hire us to find money that is owed to them- checks that were sent to a wrong address, perhaps. mostly checks that just never made it to where they were intended for. we search databases that each state/certain countries legally have to maintain. it's not my passion, but it'll do for now. it's fun to see what i can find..
-i have two surfboards and two wetsuits to my name.
-as opposed to my status as of my last entry, i am most definitely single. in fact, i think shortly after i posted that last entry it became clear that it wasnt going to work out.
-europe was fun.
-julia leaves for new zealand tomorrow, where she'll be living.
-and even though part of me yearns for the same for myself....
(more of me is wild with excitement and thankfulness that things are the way they are)
God has been teaching me and changing me this summer. i'm glad these months, which can too easily be filled with mindless fun and games in the sun, have not been wasted.
i'm going to not your average joe's with Johannes and Justin tonight!!
