Great. *looks like shit* You?

Fine. *looks him over* Are you sure of that?

Yeah, I'm sure. So, what are you doing with all this? *gestures to the papers*

[mightygwen]

*shrugs* Just research for the charity ball. *points to a couple faces who're common among the society column photographs* Trying to make some connections, learn a few names so I won't look a complete fuck up when I have to help Jack brief the lot of you before we attend.

Anything interesting? *smirks* Scandals among the gentry?

[mightygwen]

*laughs* Well, nothing in so many words, but I have a working theory that the Honourable Judge Walker *points out some old, gnarly guy* is banging sweet little socialite, Miriam West. *points to a younger woman* *grins* Buuuuut Miriam's brother, Mark, is in prison for tax fraud, so that could explain it.

*wryly* I don't think it's love. *sighs and shuffles the papers away* So how are things for you? Do you have your medical bay all set?

*looking at one of the pictures in the newspaper* Yeah, things are all set up. A few more things are getting delivered later.

*nods, considering for a moment* *sighs and catches his gaze* So what, exactly, is wrong?

[doc_harper]

*glares at her for a moment before softening his gaze* *rubs at his forehead* Do you think...Do you think I'm incapable of having a normal relationship?

[mightygwen]

*smiles gently* Depends on how you mean normal, I guess. I'm not sure I have much experience identifying such a thing.

*laughs a bit* I don't think anyone knows, period. *sighs* But if we take our standard of normal as the usual monogamous...thing? *shrugs* I think you're as capable as anyone else.
