I didn't get the visiting scholarship for the Leather Archives & Museum, though the letter said, "The search committee was impressed with your creative approach to sexual history and the potentially groundbreaking impact of your project, Beauty in Darkness."
I also got the steampunk collection in by the extended deadline, along with an afterword that makes it well above the minimum word count. There's another story I would like to add, which is worked out in my head but not completed yet. Now comes the revisions.
