Potpourri!

1. Hershey's Kisses: with or without almonds?
WITHOUT!!! Melt in the mouth goodness.... mmmm.

2. Wizard of Oz: Scarecrow or Tin Man?
Scarecrow. 'If I only had a brain...'

3. Meat eater or vegetarian?
Meat eater! What's the point of pizza if there isn't a Meat Feast option.

4. Buy books or borrow them?
Buy. I like to collect them and read them over and over and over...

5. At the bank: ATM or human teller?
Human Teller. There's something nice about having someone to be rude to when something gets screwed up. :)

6. Oil or gas (or other) heat?
erm..... ::shrug:: for this one I have no answer. Wait! Solar!!

7. Pen or pencil?
Pencil. For some reason I create better when I use a pencil.

8. Drive or use public transit?
Drive. Has anyone ever voluntarily chosen public transit for travel in the UK when there is another viable option? If they are, please let me direct you to a good therapist

9. Who IS James Bond: Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan (or any of the others in between)?
Sean Connery. Yum.

10. Your ideal breakfast: full (bacon/sausage, eggs, pancakes, etc) or continental (bagels, muffins, fruit, cereal)?
Full. Meeeeeeeeat :)

:-:

So, my week. Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiizeeeeeeeee! I worked late shifts last week and worked at least 6 hours over time. This week I'm on early shifts and will be working about 16 hours overtime, including a Saturday shift, and yes I have to be at work at 6am on Saturday morning. I remain unconvinced that time actually exists before the sun rises and the clock strikes 11am. ::sigh:: Mantra: We need the money.

Mantra 2: Must wait to have another baby. Yeah, so I'm feeling clucky. Lex is 10 months old now. He has 5 teeth, can crawl faster than I can chase him at a fast walk and knows when he's in trouble for changing the chanell with teh remote (I get a big cheecky grin from him then he crawls away at top speed. Little Monkey!).

Am waaaaaaaaaay behind on NaNo. Hope to spend a little time working on it while I'm bussing home from work for the remainder of the week.

Apart from all of that, the guys I work with are great. I'm the only woman in the goods in/out offices on my shift though it's not too bad cause there are other women in the warehouse and in the general admin/payroll offices. Missing being with hubby and bubby and even the mad bob but... see Mantra.

ALSO Hubby got a job this week paying more than the minimum he was prepared to accept, it's commutable and it means I don't have to work if I choose not to. Yay! 6 months of frustration finally over. At least he doesn't have to work at Safeway stacking shelves anymore ::GRIN::

Must watch Kate and Leopold before returning it tonight. Mmmmm, Hugh Jackman.
