Just got back from Quiz Bowl nats, finished 11th out of 128. We went 6-1 in the first seven rounds of the prelims, and then 0-3 to make the playoffs. In the playoffs, we beat the first seed in the fourth round, the small school champions in the fifth, and then lost in the finals of the playoff for tenth place (a 6-way tie).
In the first round of the playoffs, the last question started: "Its thickness is the same as three standard DVD cases..." which is roughly when I buzzed in with "The Nintendo Wii!" It was awesome.
