Since Monday night, I have been privileged enough to sleep about five hours. I've been stupidly going to be at incredibly stupid times, and tonight, or rather this morning, is no exception. I've spent the last several hours getting ready for my weekend trip to Atlanta. During this forty-eight hours, I will attend my father's 65th birthday party, and while doing so, will enjoy time with my elder sister, hopefully see some of the relatives I like and avoid contact with my crack whore cousin. If the weekend is any success at all, I will endure the presence of one uncle MC, the male half of the couple I refer to as "The Beautiful People," all while delivering insults that would be understandable to him if he were actually as bright as he thinks he is. I'll consider it a victory if I get a firm commitment from my father to help me move in August, and an outright coup if I manage to convince him that handing me a credit card a letting me loose for a couple of hours is essential to my enjoyment of two days in the ATL. I've only got one suitcase going down with me; two coming back would not be frowned upon upon in this blogger's estimation.
I get to sleep for three whole hours now. Sweet.
When I get back, maybe I'll list how much I took with me for two days. It will be nice for my schedule to tone down somewhat, just so I can take a breather, resurrect my blogging tendencies because I enjoy it so much. I'd be tempted to call into my day job tomorrow, and just have a leisurely Friday before I have to fly south, but tomorrow is payday at both jobs, and I'm looking forward to the orgasm I'll be hit with when I see how much I'm putting in the bank.
