had orientation today
- still haven't "declared a major" but that is okay
- met some fun people and "re-met" some people from my past
- met these two attractive boys, but my dad talked to them more than I did. It was an interesting situation. They're both soccer players...and math majors...and chess players. They're nice though. And we're living in the same dorm.
- due preparations for the plague
- registered for classes
- got "hit-on" in front of my parents, by this guy that was one of my dad's students (HAH) he was cute though, kinda had that "jock-persona" going on...a little too much or maybe little...for me
Funny moment of the day: (It was "transfer day" at USC, but for some reason they also had honors college orientation too. So amidst the like 150++ transfer students, there were 15 RANDOM freshmen. Sorry that has NOTHING to do with the following story.)
I met these girls that had attended the SCGSAH Honors program. And we were talking about people getting married which led to people being in relationships and then they started asking about the "gay guys" (sorry, no need for quotes) at the GS. And they were like "it must be hard to date because of all that" and I was like "yeah, you get a little desparate every now and then."
And then one of the girls was like "yeah, i heard one of the boys dated a girl or something but then he started dating guys once he got there..." and then another one of the girls was like "yeah! i remember hearing about that too!"
"what was his name? I honestly can not remember...he went to the honors program and then the residential...?"
"yeah, what did he play again?"
At this point i'm really...like "racking my brain" to think of who this boy is...
"i think his named was jay...no, not that, it started with a j..."
And then it "dawned" on me...
"yeah! He played cello..."
"OMG. JUSTIN!?"
"yeah!! that's it!"
"I DATED HIM! for like...almost 6 months or something..."
"how?!"
::laughter::
I mean the story goes on...but it was just a funny situation. Because all these non-govies were started to get "involved" in the story. It was...bonding though? Sure.
