Looking forward to the next...
This weekend was great. I was finally able to unwind a bit before I got all stressed out again. I love Lora. It was so nice that she brought her homework. If it was anyone else they might have been hurt that I would still go out with Matt and leave her at my house. But she had no problem and things worked out really well for both of us. Matt and I got to spend time with each other. As much as we would have if I went home by myself. When we went out for his birthday on Saturday dinner went really well. We didn't stop talking the whole way through. It was really nice. Plus we left at like 5 so it felt like we had more time with each other that evening. We rented a movie after dinner and we went to his house to watch it. After that we went to get ice cream and then we... um that's a little personal, and then we fell asleep. I got home at 1245.
The next morning Lora and I went to my grandparents house to pick up my winter clothes because its freezing up here already. After that I dropped her off at the house and went ot pick up Matt. We ate breakfast at my house and went to Tom Lea park. It was such a pretty morning, all cloudy and cool. It felt so fresh outside. It started to drizzle and so we went for a drive. We drove up and down Rim looking at the sculptures in the front yards. Every year the UTEP students get to display there work in the front yards of people willing to let them. There was some really interesting stuff. We ended up back at his house and took a nap. I have not slept so well in a really long time.
Then we went back to my house to pack up my things, dropped him off and then left. It's so much easier to leave when I know that I'll be back on Wednesday. This time I don't have to wait a month. I can't wait to get back.
In other news I took my first History test this morning. I felt really good about the Identification section and I think my essay turned out okay, I just couldn't remember the names of some labor groups or dates to go with people. What worries me is that I have no idea how he grades. I feel like I have the chance of getting a B, but we'll see. At least in that class he'll weigh the final more if we show great improvement on the final. We'll see.
I have my study group for Micro tomorrow and my test on Wednesday I hope all goes well. I'm feeling pretty good so far.
