notes: Twenty-five not-very-traditional haiku, but the best I could do. The haiku form used is a mix of the English 10-14 syllable structure, with a few being the longer 17-syllable Japanese type. As well as making myself stick to a sort-of traditional haiku structure, to further torture myself I've incorporated a kigo (seasonal reference) in each, as is usual. As there are 25 works in a blackout, I've used the traditional four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) plus the newer "new year" kigo. It was just too hard to do the 5 kigo across the 5 rows, as well as matching suitable kigo with the various kinks, so the kigo are scattered about. Of course, my kigo bear little resemblance to the traditional seasonal references in old-style haiku (e.g. I used "frog-tied" for the spring kigo "frog" *g*). I hope you'll forgive me. For those interested in why the kigo represent the various seasons (where it's not self-evident), there's a footnote explaining them, below.
If you're not especially bothered by the non-con and dub-con warnings, there's a jpg of the whole table of 25 haiku here. It works better as a whole "artwork" than piecemeal, I think. Click through to enlarge it.
