Sad Meghan
I am so sad for my Kirby girl today. She ran into something and cut her cheak open. It is just a little cut, but it still makes me so sad. I did some puppy first aid, but it hit me today...this is the rest of her life. There's no learning to use a cane, no going to get a guide dog. Everything will be touch and go for her, and its only going to get worse. We walk into each other, she bumps into things and jumps back because she is startled.
When I first heard she was going blind, I thought, no big deal, she will adjust...How is she supposed to adjust if she can't ever learn skills to find obstacles? I know she'll adjust to some degree, but that doesn't change the fact that she cannot see.
I want my little fluffy one to be all better!
