I received my Luts order yesterday, so here are some pics of the new boy, modelling one outfit:
Couldn't belive I got him to stand in these next two pics:
That was NOT level ground!
The outfit is called "Autumn Rain". I've been wanting to buy it for a while now, so I'm glad it was once again in stock at Luts. It's quite well made too! Dan and I were marvelling at the detail-work on the coat - the stitching, the working pockets and the lining. It also came with a pair of gloves, but the fingers on those are too long for the SD13 boy hands.
There are some more clothes, but I haven't taken any daylight pics of them yet. Once I do, I'll post them.
Thanks for looking in!
Small update on Mauricee:
Mauricee's had 2 tests done so far:
First - tiny sampling taken from each lymph-node on the backs of his legs. This only showed that something was irritating the lymph-nodes, but no other info as to what.
Second - blood-work! The blood-work showed that his organs are functioning well, and that he has no infections. They also showed that he has no feline-leukemia. They did show that he has slightly elevated calcium levels, althought still within the normal range. However this does happen in cases of Lymphoma... Also, it showed that his Lymphasoids (not sure if I have the word correct here) are increased. This can also be indicative of Lymphoma... That's worrying so far.
However, the vet told us that there are still two possibilities here. Either what we're dealing with is Lymphoma, in which case we'll have to put Mauricee through treatment... OR This is actually a Peripheral Lymphatic Hyperplesia, whic is quite benign, has not particular known reason for occurring, and is harmless, and not requiring treatment, as it will clear itself.
So, to determine which we're dealing with, Mauricee's going in for a bit of surgery - for a biopsy of one of the swollen lymph-nodes.
It's frustrating that we don't yet know for sure what's going on, but at the same time we feell hopeful.
We wouldn't want Mauricee to be treated for a disease he doesn't have so the biopsy is important at this point.
We're hoping that indeed, it reveals that Mauricee's still a healthy cat, and that there's no Lymphoma (cancer).
It's been such a frustrating week... I've been sick, as I've mentioned before, and the stress over Mauricee's been adding to the tension.
Dan and I both love that little kitty so much. It would break our hearts if we lost him.
