Gumdrops!
My Gumdrops order arrived today! Finally! It's been a FIVE MONTH wait - I ordered them on Aug 23, 2008.
Anyway, here's some pics of the dollies for whom the Gumdrops were ordered:
Peregrin got "Mossy Pearl" standard Gumdrops...
Riesling got standard Gumdrops in "Teal"...
And, O'Carollan got standard Gumdrops in "Blue Grass".
All in all, very gorgeous eyes. The wait was long though...
I also need an extra pair - pacific blue, or stormy blue, or possibly blue danube - in 16mm standard. I'd like them for the new boy.

I had to take this pic, because it caught me by surprise, and because it made me laugh so hard! I looked over to the dining-room table, and found everybody like that. The kittens especially made me giggle.
By the way, I was attempting to remove hot-glue from the new boy's head today. His eyes were set in there by Volks, using hot-glue - most irritating and frustrating. I've managed to chip his faceup too... drat! I can probably touch it up. Not sure I want to remove it yet, since I'm not sure when I'll have time to do a new faceup on him.
Anyway, there's still plenty of hot-glue left in there, even thought the eyes are out. I'm trying to find more ways to help get that stuff off the resin. Tried the freezing method. Wondering if I should try heat - a hair-dryer, perhaps, to soften the glue a bit more...
Suggestions are welcome.
