Ok, so I can't come up with a good title for this entry - what CAN I do?!
Onward:
So, a couple of months ago I've started to feel that MSD sized BJDs are not really working for me - at least, the ones I have don't. They are too childlike...
As cute as my Rose (Soulkid Katie) is, she just hasn't had much of my attention lately, and I thought it would be more fun if she "grew up".
So, I found an SD sized girl that I like - Dollmore Eve Chami - and I bought her this last Christmas holiday.
She arrived on Jan 8, 2008 - the night I found out about my grandma's passing. That, and the fact that this girl came to me without a faceup have brought me to only post her pics now (TWO FACEUPS LATER, BTW, grrr...).
She is very cute/pretty, and is already more ROSE to me than the original Rose.
I made that little dress for her. Got the pattern off
http://www.denofangels.com/patterns/james/DD%20flared%20dress/ This pattern is actually for a DD, so is more "generous" in the bust area, but it is a comfy fit for the Dollmore Eve new body.
She poses beautifully, as her torso and arms are really well designed, I think. I do wish that her knees had more felxibility. Her legs are long and beautiful. Her feet are rather big!
And now for some shots of the TWO ROSES!
Sharing secrets?
... plotting?
...looking thoughtful...
Both wearing my handmade crocheted hats:
Little Rose: I DEMAND a pom-pom on MY HAT too!
And... last pic:
Two Roses: Bye for now... suckers... heeheehee...
Oh dear... They really did plot something together, didn't they?! I really shouldn't let them sit together from now one!
Anyway, I shall most likely sell my little Rose. The mould - Soulkid Katie - is no longer available from Souldoll, so hopefully she won't have too much trouble finding a new home.
There are still some MSDs that I like. I may one day spend the cash on a U-Noa, just 'cause those are just so adorable! But, Souldoll has lost its attraction to me, I think.
So, that's my dolly news everyone!
Thank you for looking!
