Title: In the Rain

Summary: When Axel meets someone interesting in the rain, he never expected things to come this far.
A/N: Well, this'll be the last update before school starts, then I'm not sure when I'll be updating...hopefully the gaps will be about the same as they are now.
I groan as I roll over and look at the clock.
3:49 am.
Wonderful.
Ugh, those police sirens sound really close...
Wait.
Quickly getting up, I go over to my window to see two police cars and an ambulance at Axel's house.
Oh no! What if they're dying! They might've been murdered! Oh no...at the hospital, with all those tubes...
Whoa.
Calm down Roxas...calm down..
I quickly put on some jeans and run downstairs just in time to see my mom heading out the front door.
I walk over to their house to see Axel's grandma siiting on the porch steps.
"Oh, hello Roxas."
Huh, she got my name right.
"Um..what happened here?"
She sighs.
"Our house was broken into. They didn't steal anything, fortunately. But Axel...well..it's thanks to him I'm okay.."
I glance around the police cars, but there's no sign of him. I then glance over to the ambulance. Ah..there he is..
I look back over to Axel's grandma.
"What did Axel do?"
She smiles.
"He heard me yelling at the thief, and came up to him. Then, THWACK! He socked him good. A few times, actually. The man still got away, but I have a feeling he's going to need some plastic surgery."
I laugh a little.
We both look over as Axel walks over to us.
His hand is bandaged up...I guess he broke it when he punched the guy.
Once again, he's not wearing a shirt.
Not that I'm complaining.
"That was very brave of you Axel."
Wha? How long has my mom, along with Sora and Riku, been standing behind me?
I hate being snuck up on.
Mom turns to Axel's grandma.
"Maybe you and your grandson should stay at our house for a few days so the police can investigate? We have a guest room, and Axel can stay with Roxas in his room?"
WHAT?
Thanks a lot mom.
If I didn't know any better, I'd say both my mom and Axel's grandma were trying to get us together.
This is gonna be an interesting few days.
A/N: Yeah, so, I realize I kept calling her 'Axel's grandma' but I didn't know what else to put..I'm not good at coming up with last names. Oh well.
