Wings of the what?
I haven't had much time to play FFXI lately. Nevertheless, I still bought Wings of the Goddess on its release date - and then spent the next 48 hours trying to register the expansion. Square-Enix sure does hate PC users
The only thing to do in WoTG, aside from the missions, is Campaign. And Jugner Forest, for some reason, attracts a lot of Campaign battles. Who knows, maybe those Orcs really, really, want that butt-ugly fortification. So Jugner Forest became a sort of second Mog House for me. I switched to DRK because of Drain and Drain II - and in a battle where it seems like it's every man for himself, it seems appropriate.
Fast-forward to two days ago. After two solid weeks of doing Campaign trying to rank up from Holyknight and wondering why Llelweyn or whatever the Windurst campaign NPC is called is telling me to fuck off, I get the answer after checking BG forums (which I rarely read anymore). Holyknight is the maximum rank for now. Yay.
You know, would it have been that much of a burden to program Llellweyn to say "Hey, we're out of medals for the next rank at the moment. Do you want to maintain your current honors? Y/N"? Or was this all part of Square-Enix's diabolical plan to revive its fanbase?
FUCK.
