The Chocobo Racing craze has spread to all four nations of the Middle Lands!

-The Aht Urhgan Whitegate NPC “Zasshal” has started offering discounts on Salvage permits for regular patrons.
-The new mercenary rank “Staff Sergeant” has been added. In accordance, a number of new items have been added to the list of goods that can be earned with Imperial Standing credits.
The following features have been added to the Mog Locker:
Players can now expand their Mog Lockers to hold a maximum of 80 items.
By speaking to the Aht Urhgan NPC Fubruhn and completing the necessary procedures, players can use their Mog Lockers wherever they may be in Vana'diel.
*However, these procedures will shorten the length of a Mog Locker lease from 7 to 2 Earth days. A Mog Locker lease costs one Imperial bronze piece to renew. In addition, the remaining time on the current lease will be proportionately reduced.
*At any time, you can switch between being able to use the Mog Locker in only Al Zahbi and being able to use it in all areas. If you choose to limit your Mog Locker use to Al Zahbi, the restrictions imposed on the Mog Locker lease will no longer be in effect.
[Battle-Related]
- Thieves may no longer "Steal" to initiate battle. A certain amount of time must pass after engaging a monster before a Thief may successfully steal.
- The potency, casting time, and MP cost of the blue magic spell "Head Butt" have been adjusted.
A new skillchain, "Darkness Elucidation", has been added. Executing this skillchain will award a significant amount of experience points.
*This skillchain requires certain jobs to successfully execute.
*Players must fulfill conditions that differ from the usual requirements for executing a skillchain.. For more details, please

[Known Issues]
- An issue has been identified with "Darkness Elucidation" wherein it may produce high levels of slowdown on certain PCs. We are investigating the situation.
