*cannot actually articulate disgust at the moment*
So, I just read the details for my final paper. 3 to 5 pages on a topic of our choosing; all in all, not too bad. Pretty much like the other papers due in this class.
And then I see that he wants us to use 8 books we've read this semester.
Now, his other papers were annoying because we had to have five sources total. But 8 books we've read? To support a single idea. When what we've read runs the gauntlet from Voltaire to techonationalism to The Marriage of Figaro to Mary Astell to the Turkish Embassy Letters. I am so not pleased with this!
Even the dean of the honors college thought that five sources overall was a bit much. But 8 books total? Argh!
Even better, we need to hand in a thesis by Friday so he can approve it. We got word of the requirements tonight. And the essay itself is due in a week.

Note: I'll probably be okay when I sit down and work through this. For now, I'm just really unhappy with this whole ordeal.
