I always look out for the Kindle deals, sometimes the books are really good.
You're doing a lot better with reading than I am, but I do have some new stuff, mostly fantasy, magic and stuff. It does mostly seem similar, like there is a formula being followed. They can be entertaining, though.
I thought Qualify was beautifully done. Very intricate, although dark. I also really liked the MC.
I do not trust the Atlanteans at all, though. Something about them feels familiar in a bad way. Still wondering whether or not to read the others in the series.
Oh, I really like that you actually let me know what you thought of it, thank you so much! I'm totally with you on the Atlanteans - no way are they as kind and generous as they're pretending to be. Neither do I trust Logan, by the way.
Gwen is awesome, definitely one of my favourite heroines of this year.
Still wondering whether or not to read the others in the series. I was ambivalent about that as well, eventually deciding not to, mostly because the series has four books in total, the last two of which are over 1,000 pages each and I'm not sure I want to spend that much time on it. XD It mostly works, I think, as a standalone, and I'm assuming that won't be the case anymore for the second and third book.

I'll add Qualify to my list as well :)
I like this visual graphing of your books!

Thanks! It's a Storygraph thing, and I'm really enjoying it as well.
