For starters, I got my first Holga photos...there are some interesting, funny shots, but the printing did not do justice to the square-frame format, the soft focus and dreamy vignetting that's typical of the toy cam. St. Ignatius of Loyola looked smashing with the double-exposed yellow chintz from our sofa...
Meanwhile, please focus on some shots from Aniki's Great Nikon D40 Experiment (for the rest of the shots, check his
site out):
Aniki's Great Nikon D40 Experiment (sounds Mao-ish) - The Christmas Ornament
Close-ups of shiny objects reveal a lot of interesting effects.
Aniki's Great Nikon D40 Experiment (sounds Mao-ish) - Me, in Gateway Mall
Nice example of depth-of-field, but the focus on me seems a bit blurry--but this looks better at less than 640x480.
Aniki's Great Nikon D40 Experiment (sounds Mao-ish) - Gateway's Christmas Shrubbery
Nice shot! :D But someone lurks in the shadows? Or reflections?
