[random] odin be praised!
Went on a special movie date with my mom--Beowulf in SM's IMAX theater.
It was.....COOL!!! XD; I was doing "inane" things (blame it on visual instinct) during the screening--"catching" snowflakes, "dodging" spears/arrows/falling debris, etc. Oh, and "wiping" my face from the blood-splattered gore.
Goriness in 3D is cool. Definitely.
Some of the dialogue sound deliberately cheesy (like "Odin be praised!"), but forgivable. I'm not too sure that I won't exclaim "Odin be praised!" for anything next week.
(Well, except for figuring out the "trick" behind the IMAX technology. It involves polarized light--the "glasses" aren't the red-green ones, but something similar to "polaroid" sunglasses.)

People in my flist--want to check out Mogwai in Cubao Shoe Expo? It's a moviehouse/bar/coffee shop...and unique (well, it's the bohemian side of Cubao which I rarely explore).
