Holy crap, you weren't kidding! Angsty, but good. Ronon was a jerk for not pushing a little harder to keep her there. A woman doesn't always need a flash of sexy muscle mass to keep her in one spot (most of the time), sometimes its nice to hear it. Oh well, wonderful job!

Haha, I did warn you.
Thanks. And I agree with the flash of sexy muscle mass... though it wouldn't hurt from Ronon...

Gagh...

Wow, the angst really blind-sided me there, which is weird, because I do love my angst. Weirder still seeing Ronon letting her go like that. Though, if we're to take anything from his relationship with Melena, and even Jennifer, he's not one to force his will in a relationship, which really, can be maddening at times...

Yeah, I liked this. :)

Thank you. Yeah, I figured he wouldn't be one to force Amelia to stay but rather let her choose for herself - which is very maddening in this case.
Hope your okay after the angst ambush. :D

Yeah, I'm ok. :)

I realize now, that the reason I lone angsty stories so much is that it a certain amount of courage on the part of the write to not wrap thing up in a perfect little bow. There's that uncomfortable uncertainty that makes you wonder (and long for) the happily ever after, but also leaves things open, like, maybe the characters will get their act together and work things out, but...maybe not.

Yes, I think that is the difference between an okay angst piece and a good one. And you just explained it perfectly. :)

I don't think Amelia would be the type of person to just leave because she didn't want to die. Wouldn't she have left after Michael came then?

I put that in because I'm sure that is a big thing on everyone's mind in Atlantis, not just Amelia. It's not be the only thing making her leave but it's one part.
