Hi everyone!

We've had some issues getting information to players and storytellers, mostly due to the questionable functionality of the WW servers and the lists they host. This has been regrettable, and I have no way of knowing who has gotten what information from what list at this time. Therefore, I'm going to give you the links to everything you may need to know that is out at this time.

*PLEASE* check these links for information before you ask questions; this will cut down on a lot of redundancy for everyone involved.

Please note that we've put a lot of things on the Camarilla LiveJournal, mostly because our own website is still being coded. These posts are UNLOCKED, meaning that they can be viewed at the link by anyone with internet acces, regardless of if they have a LiveJournal or use the Community.

There will also be an AAMST Staff Office Hours on IRC, plus a global-hosted Soft RP session and Character Gen session. Let the professionals help you with your sheet, meet and greet roleplay with PCs from the world over (and maybe a little plot for flavor), and have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues with the Awakening AAMST Staff. Char Gen begins at 7pm US EST, Soft RP at 8 pm US EST, Office Hours at 9 pm US EST. Go to #mage-ooc (no channel key) on Monday, November 28th.

Mage Character Sheets in Excel- First link is the basic MC/XP system from the Addenda, second link has been updated for the US MC/XP system. Email Jen Pitts, setitegirl@yahoo.com, with questions and bugs. These links are updated when/if bugs are found and repaired.

Global Order Structure Poll- We want to hear from players and storytellers at all levels what they think about each specific Order's potential as a global entity, what things they think may be important to a globalized Order and how (or if) they'd like to see a global structure emerge! Fill out and email your poll to Peter Smalley, GSA Orders, at perfectedadept@gmail.com. Find the poll at:

GSA LiveJournal for Luke Hill, GSA Antagonists and Realms- This is another way for players and STs to give their opinions to staff.

Soft RP XP for the month of November- Please note that ICC and ACC soft RP sessions are eligible to count as November sessions. The monthly cap was stated to be 15 before the Addenda was updated, and changes to the monthly cap will be decided by the NST offices.

Starter Plotkit- Kit for use in getting PCs together at any level of the game, producing a point from which more localized plot can easily be started.

Non-Atlantean Paradigm Guide- Okay, no, not *that* paradigm. This takes you through the process step-by-step of breaking down the Atlantean myth and how to break down multicultural, non-Western mythologies and blend them into something useable to a PC in the Awakening game Setting without breaking the Setting or the PC. This is designed as a tool to increase the cultural broadness of the characters in the game, not to step outside the Awakening setting and make it more like Ascension. While it's possible for PCs to not believe in Atlantis at all, it's also possible to work in an Order and not believe in the exact Atlantis as defined in Awakening; this document helps you do that in a logical way.

Plot-Ready Setting Structure- This is a guide to setting up your local game in such a manner that tying in your first big plot becomes both natural and easy. There's a lot of Storytelling theory in here that breaks down things you often deal with but may not have ever really thought about. Also contains methods of getting PCs to interact that may not otherwise have done so.

Mailling Lists- The following have been created by AAMST staff and some enterprising players. They remain active when the WW server is down and provide some great forums for discussing background links, future structures and getting feedback on ideas. First links are Order YahooGroups, second link is Legacies, third link is the sign up page for the WW lists. Each list's premise is on that list's sign up page. If you are not a US member, please speak to your STs about getting on your National lists.

IRC Play- The IRC Awakening Channels are open for business! The following links, in order, are for the IRC Awakening VSS, the Rules, how to get channel keys and a link where you can chat on IRC using a java based program that doesn't require you to download an mIRC or similar program (alternate site; www.darkmyst.org). Please feel free to stop into #mage-ooc (no channel key) as well, where you can chat with and ask questions of other STs and players.
