not twinklin' toes

i've been taking a swing dancing class for a coupla months. the first class had over 50 people. it's slowly been whittling down to about 20. this is the second week that i've been the only single person there, and therefore the only one partner-less. tonight, i was standing around, waiting for a partner (swing's kinda hard without the guy leading), and finally just left after 45 minutes of non-attention.

there are several things the teacher should know, like how she spends more than half of the class just talking to people (not teaching), only covers one side of the classroom, doesn't give clear instructions, and never told us her name (i looked it up in the class listings). she's a crappy teacher. i've got suggestions to improve her teaching skills (and would probably help keep students in the class). i wanna write an evaluation of the "teacher"'s teaching skills like the one i've received.

do people in all professions do this?
