Dinner was good last night, but the restaurant (Fuche, Murray St) was expensive ($100 for a tapas plate shared between the four of us, and 15 bucks for cocktails...) and worse, they wouldn't accept our discount voucher when it came time to pay. WTF?! Then we went to 44 King St cafe for coffee and cake. The cake was good, the lemongrass and ginger tea great, and our Mexican waiter Chris was a cutey! Poor guy, putting up with us "What's your name?" "Where are you from?" "What's your surname?" *giggles* We had bets on it, I thought his name would be Juan Fernandez ;) Totally wrong! Spelling out our order was fun too... I guess polenta isn't a word that most people lean in English class though!
A big YAY for the Dockers winning their first ever final yesterday, taking them into the final 4 :) Hopefully the Eagles can do the same today....
