Back (home?) in Pittsburgh
Like I said, Christmas Break was fun! (see previous entry) Good times with Jake, Michelle and Lia. Too bad some people went sailing so I couldn't see them :( *cough*Emily*cough* Although that wasn't really her fault. But it was definitely sad. Anyhow...more all nighters with Wes and Jake when we can all stay up till 6. :D
Hmmm...the plane ride was as all plane rides are: long and boring. Except for watching the dumb chick flick which almost made me cry cuz I'm overly emotional like that. Also, as my plane went from PDX to Phoenix and then to Pittsburgh, there were a bizillion Ohio State fans on the plane from Phoenix all decked out and doing chants and such. Scary. I felt sorry for the two guys in Miami hats. Oh well. Not like I got a chance to watch the game anyway. So, the flight was good, albeit too long. And then our baggage took forever to come. Anyhow, Karla, who helps run Bible Study here, came and picked me up cuz she's cool like that. And then, as Pittsburgh is a huge sports town, there were scary signs on the way into town due to the big Steelers v. Browns game today...the freeway signs, the digital ones, read as follows:

Finally, got back to campus and got into Vickroy to stay the night in Bethany Foose's room as my dorm didn't open till 9AM today. That was ok. Although I still get creeped out being all alone. Then I tried sleeping last night at 11:30...didn't fall asleep till 1, probably a cross between jet lag and not being able to stop thinking about things. Anywho, I woke up at 5 to this intermittent beeping noise which turned out to be her phone as I'd been using it and it wasn't plugged in so the battery was low. I plugged it in and beeping stopped. I went back to sleep, woke up at 8 when my alarm went off, got up at 8:30, took a shower, re-packed, brought my stuff over to my room. I got through my carry ons and then bundled up and walked to church, about 1.5-2 miles, in the snowstorm which decided to start when I left Vickroy. That worked out ok...Church was good. Then I walked back and ate lunch. Returned to my room, finished unpacking. And now I'm killing time till I go to the airport to meet Eddie. *sigh* long day. And school starts tomorrow, which is both good and bad I guess. Well, that's all for now. I'm going to sit here and watch snow.
