Double update of Doom, Death and Destruction... Delayed. And this is why.
Ok, so first of all, Hi! How are you all! It's been forever. And I've missed you all incredibly.
In any case, I would like to take this opportunity to explain the many reasons why I haven't been able to update the stories recently, even though they are mostly written out, and quite a bit of simming has been done.
In all truth, the eldest children of the main households (both the Trembles and the Shivers) are actually teens.
Eldest Trembles (Justice Lost):
Above is Lust on the slide, and Love talking to Ruin (Shivers);
Here, from left to right, you have Benjamin Long, Recently teened Lust, Bandana guy, Newly teened Love, Sharlene, Bliss and Blessed. (Blessed is Bliss' eldest son).
All three Shivers (Curse of the Blü Flamingo):
The blond human-skinned child is Plague; blond alien is Lament, and you've already met child Ruin.
And here is Teened Ruin, and the mohawk-teen is Delirium, Bliss' second child (aka: oopsie-baby, or the-one-you-haven't-met-yet).
There are very few pics of Teened Plague because he went all glitchy on me and lost his alien eyes. In the background, you see Lament, who grew up nicely.
New babies you haven't met yet over at the Tremble's house:
Ok, so little note here: I forgot to roll the dice in CAS, and effectively got... clones. D: Pleasure and Romance, the two youngest, are respectively Love and Lust reborn to cause me no end of headaches telling them apart in my pictures and acting ridiculously similar in all aspects. Romance is this generation's bad apple.
To help me out, I curled up Pleasure's hair. Romance is a sweet, bratty kid. I heart all four kiddies.
Bliss and Avri's children:
Blessed, the eldest, you've already met. He's absolutely adorable, has 0 nice points and somewhere near 10 neat points. It is absolutely awesome to have him around, and his 8 outgoing points and popularity aspiration means he's everyone's best friend. And I mean everyone.
So, oopsie-baby. Effectively, Avri felt Bliss cheated on him at a party, and in order to get them back together, I sent them on a date. Which ended with me accidentally hitting the Try for Baby rather than Woo-hoo, resulting in.... a lullabye. I am actually very, very glad Delirium came about, as he's the same age as Love and Lust and will be going to college with them. Effectively, Blessed and Delirium are very, very close. Blessed, now in College, constantly rolls the want for Delirium to Go to College, which I think is really cute.
Ode and Sharlene's kiddies:
Indubitably, my two favourites this generation are Joy and Bonheur.
I love these two. You've already met them as YA, though, if you read my Spares' Story, for the BPRRL.
Real life and other stuffeths:
So I've been intrawebs dead. The reasons for this, and for the delay in the story, are two-fold.
Firstly, at the end of the month, I'm moving to my pretty, new shiney house (may not be new or shiney, but I'm pleased as punch). In fact, today, hubby and I went 'shopping' and spent over 3000$ on the most boooooring things. Fridge, stove, washer, dryer, et cetera. Enter the fact that I effectively have to start packing and you have a pretty picture of what I'm going through. Question: How do two, relatively minimalist people, amass so. much. CRAP??????? I've been sorting through my stuff, and for every box I pack, I throw out 2. I mean, yay! Purge, but on the other hand, what am I going to do when I've been living in my house for 10 years, rather than an appartment for only 3?
Also in the area of OMG, WUT? news, and some of you knew this already, I am pregnant. In week 10 and feeling slightly better than I have this past month, but still going Urrrggghhh, and calling the toilet my best-est friend. *Siiiigggghhhh*. So I've been sleeping at 7PM, and staying up till 10 is waaaayyyy past bedtime for me. So I'm living dangerously tonight.
So hubby is calling me off to play Settlers of Catan on AsoBrain (cause I packed our actual copy of the game away...)
