Update time!
I haven't updated in a long time - mostly, because there's not a whole lot to report. Same old bullshit on a different day, sort of thing. But! Here's some updates:
- I've been taking bike rides every Saturday with my sister-from-another-mister and it's been a lot of fun. I didn't realize I missed doing stuff like that. o.o I hate exercising with people, but that kind of exercise doesn't really feel like exercise - just riding a bike and shooting the shit with a friend. Awesome stuff.
- Got to go out to lunch with another friend that I haven't seen physically in ages. That was a lot of fun, too!
- Count down - two weeks and one day until I meet yet another friend for the first time in ten years. You didn't read that wrong. I haven't ever met this friend, but have known and been friends with her for ten years. This will be awesomesauce.
- Still unemployed - mostly due to the trip. Since, well, it makes sense. When I return from my trip, I'll look in earnest since I'll just be able to say "BTW, Have school in September!" which will be more normal than "Oh yeah, gotta have a week off randomly for recreational items! Hire me!" ... yah know?
- Cannot WAIT to get a new phone. I so want a new one - don't *need* it, but I *want* it.
- And will be a quarter of a century old in three days. What what!
- Working on a website pro-bono for my brother and this organization that he is seriously committed to. Since he lives down the street, comes over at all random hours, and my room isn't really off limits to someone who is 6'4 or his cute daughter, I kinda don't get out of it. Gotta do it.
- Remembering why I hate sewing - it's the cutting out. The sewing itself? Fine. The rest? Not-so-fine.
