In April 2007 in New Mexico a little girl named Taegen was with her babysitter. Her mom and dad were both at work. At 2 am 911 was called and the little girl was dead. She was only 17 months old.
Information started to come out. At first they thought Taegen had died from SIDS. Later it was revealed that the babysitters boyfriend was there. Then the autopsy. Taegen had been stomped on.
Yes.
Stomped on.
She had severe trauma to her head and stomache. She had been dead since at least 9 pm that night.
The boyfriend and babysitter were arrested.
The full story:
The babysitter and the boyfriend got into a fight. The boyfriend pushed the little girl down and stomped several times on her head and stomach. All this happened in front of her 4 year old brother, who thankfully was not harmed. Afterwards, the boyfriend and babysitter took the little girl and laid her in her bed. They waited five hours before calling 911. That poor little baby died in her bed and in pain. They may have been able to save her if she had been seen in time.
At first the boyfriend denied it. That was soon thrown out when they found his footprint on her chest. Then he said it was an accident. He had been jumping over her and fell. Then he finally admitted to it. But it was an accident. It was an accident that he killed a child by crushing her head and stomach several times.
Finally, justice has been served. He has life in prison. He had to be moved to solitary confinement because the other inmates at the county jail had been kicking his ass. When he was released on bail after the hearing they had to take him back into custody because they found him in a ditch after several people had jumped and beat him.
He is already getting death threats from prison because they dont take too kindly to baby killers there.
The worse thing? He didn't even say sorry. He wouldn't even say sorry to Taegen's family.
There is a bill getting passed here in New Mexico for child abuse and neglect because of all this.
I am so glad about this. I've been watching and waiting to see what would happen to this asshat. I seriously hope he gets made into someone's bitch while he's in prison. I hope he gets killed. That's horrible but I truely mean it.
Taegen, may you rest in peace. You were far too young to leave earth this soon but you are with the Father now and in a better place. You have blessed this world and thanks to you many other babies and young children will get the justice they deserve.
