that's an interesting remedy! i'll have to try it the next time, because i'm sure my backwards body will have one in the near future. i'm usually too impatient for anything but diflucan.

What I usually do with the tree tea is take a tampon and cut off the bulk and then soak the end in the tea tree oil. Insert it really fast and it doesn't burn. Plus it keeps the tea tree oil in there fighting the infection for longer than if you just rubbed some on.

I use yoghurt too, it's a lot more messy.

Used to use Diflucan but I figure it makes the yeast strains stronger just like the OTC kinds.

oooo not vaseline, that shit can GIVE you a yeast infection. Use a water based lube or something, I just happened to be kind of wet when I usually do it.

Yeah I was using babyoil as a lube for awhile and got the nastiest yeast infection ever. Petroleum products sort of, clog up your insides. Prevent it from cleaning itself out easily. And then things start to grow out of control. It's bad for condoms but bad for vaginas too.

most often, the yeast infections that occur after unprotected sex are from urine.
seriously.
have your lover wash himself thoroughly before sexual contact. [i've gotten mine into the habit of washing after every urination since we're a bit spontaneous.]
it has nothing to do with bad hygiene so much as, they shake and don't wipe, there's bound to be some dried on there and that is what messes with the lovely balance in the cunt.
