Kroger Signature (because I wouldn't be caught DEAD in a regular Kroger. Shut up, their meat always looks vaguely brown and well, nasty) had a bottle of buttermilk marked at 75 cents because it expires in three days. So I bought it even though I had no clue as to what I could use buttermilk for besides pancakes and mashed potatoes, neither of which I had any desire to make. But hey, that's what Foodnetwork.com is for, right? Right. That's why I have a buttermilk pie cooling right now and I'll be making buttermilk and blue cheese ranch dressing tomorrow for a salad that I may or may not bring to April and Dave's BBQ up (down?) in Liberty. God, it is going to be SO hot tomorrow - we were listening to the radio in the car today and they mentioned that it was 99 in Sugar Land (about 15 minutes from us) and 102 in Liberty which is about the time that Christopher decided to tell me that Liberty is exactly where this BBQ is being held tomorrow. It says the high tomorrow is 98 but with the humidity, I'm sure it will feel like at 105.
I am slightly pissed right now. H20 Plus has a promotion going on right now that supposedly doesn't end until the 15th - it's a code for 15 dollars off any 15 dollar purchase. Well, I went to use it and it won't work so I guess I'll try to call the customer service line tomorrow and see what they can do for me. I want my
Raspberry Guava shower gel, damnit. Not that I need any more bath and body products because I am the reigning queen of shower paraphernalia but that's not the point at all.
I have a headache and I have no idea why. I'd take an Excedrin except then I would be up all night long and while that's always fun, we have to be in Humble (aka THE MOST FAR AWAY PLACE EVER except for maybe Liberty which is apparently even further) by 1 tomorrow which means we'll have to be up at about 10 so we can be showered and out the door by 12. Now I'm off to do one more load of laundry and then bed.
