I am a nerd
I would probably win for worst aunt of the year if I bought this for April and Dave's baby. However, if I can find it in Uncle, I may do it anyway.
I made a chores chart last night and I was doing real good this morning until I did a load of laundry that included the pants I wanted to wear today and forgot to close the lid. That's why it's 11:15 and I'm still wearing my yoga pants and "We Care About Kids" work t-shirt. But I managed to run the dishwasher, sweep the kitchen floor, scrub the counters and stove, brush the dog then let her outside and start the aforementioned load of laundry so I'm cool. It's more than I should be doing on one day but I had a non Ritalin induced (shocking, I know) burst of energy so I decided to get it all out of the way. Then, according to the chart, when Christopher gets home he will empty the dishwasher, let the dog outside again and start a pot of water boiling for dinner. We both seem to do much better in life when we have detailed instructions (me because of the ADD and him because he gets lazy if he doesn't have specifics things for specific days) so this should make things much easier in the Blake household.
But now it's 12:10 (stupid Sephora and their stupid ability to suck me in for almost an hour) and I must leave if I want to be able to stop at Starbucks before work for a pumpkin spice latte which I'll use to wash down 30 milligrams of Ritalin. Who cares that I woke up at 9 am? I have caffeine and amphetamines, thank you.
