Icon searching & summer TV.
Since I've been enjoying anime I've been watching recently, and since I have the extra space anyway, I decided to look around for a couple fresh icons. I ended up finding a cool Advent Children one from evrything_burns, but this one from yummynummyicons just made me laugh...
Meanwhile... missed the premiere of the new summer drama, Windfall, last night, as I went out to LI and replenished foodstock. The show seems to have an interesting concept, though: 20 people win a $386 million lottery jackpot. How will they each use their winnings? Simple premise with limitless possibilities. It could bust, could succeed, but I'm willing to give it a chance. There any other network summer shows that interest me, at the moment, anyway.
I'm hoping to get a lot of reading done this summer, too, which is among the reasons I'm waiting on getting cable TV hooked up. Network television has enough stuff, anyway. I'd mostly get cable for sports channels, TNT, Avatar [on Nickelodeon], and Cartoon Network. And that last one is quickly fading from my radar, because I don't find 90% of their program schedule appealing anymore.
So I'm thinking reading will take precedence, as it probably should, over television this summer. Hopefully that'll also lead to my writing more, as I continue struggling to get into a routine with that. *GRR!* But, it will come along, eventually.
