Needs more JUNGA!
I need to inject something JUNGA! to this journal, or it's going to be consumed by angst quicker than a Beard Papa's cream puff by littleaznpiggy. ; p
So, here is a double dose of JUNGA!
First... 24 is unbelievably amazing right now! I'm convinced there is absolutely no way to predict what is going to happen in the final six hours. Everything has been ramped up beyond every past season... once again exceeding my expectations. And once again, at season's end, I'll be wondering: "How can next season possibly be any better? There's no way they can make it any better."
It'll be awesome when they prove me wrong, again, next season.
Secondly... NEW YORK METS 9-2! BEST START IN FRANCHISE HISTORY! WOO~! The Mets aren't just in first place in their division, the National League East... they aren't only first place in the entire National League... they currently have the best record in Major League Baseball!
Granted, it's only been 11 games. But I wanted to say it while I could!
I do think the Mets have a great team this year, unlike the past five years. I feel they can win the National League East, finally dethroning the Atlanta Braves after 14 consecutive seasons. However, I know nothing's set in stone, so I'll just keep rooting for my Mets and, hopefully, getting to some games this season.
