I got my first request to write an article for a journal. The editor of Journal of Near-Death Studies, who is the Carlson Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Virginia, wants me to expand upon my essay about the relation between agmatine and near-death experiences. That journal is sort of small, however. I might try submitting an article to a more well known journal before taking the sure bet. Regardless, it's nice to know that my most original contribution to neuroscience is getting noticed.
