dear one of my fav people,
we saw him go out from the theater to the trailer to reach for his cymbal. i almost died, practically. thank goodness the window was up. he held that cymbal tightly with him until the end of the openers, he changed cymbals and was happy but angry at the end when he violently threw his drumstick across the stage at the face of success! clutching and holding guard of his precious cymbal has to be the funniest thing, ever. i'm glad to see him back, back where he belongs -- behind four beaute friends. he looked good too; his hair was a proper length, attire was fantastic, he did gestures and movements at the appropriate times. he played the keyboard with intensity, but the tambourine dance-off he achieved passion like no other, and he dominated the dance too. the only thing missing from him was the terriffic song where the patriotic drums march in - but that just would have been hysteria. i saw him yesterday too. he was close - they all were close. no drumsticks in the air, but the gang was good nonetheless. they were on, then they were off! you're just too good.
